Still, when it comes to the weather, it’s challenging to know what you’re going to be facing – rain, sleet, and snow… in the UK, you get a little of everything!

However, rain is only one of the significant threats you’ll face in creating the perfect event… the second is the cold.

In the UK, even the warmest days can turn cold at a moment’s notice. Marquee heating is worth considering to combat the cold and ensure your guests are comfortable throughout the evening. If it’s chilly outside, you must ensure it’s warm and cosy inside!

We offer a range of heating options that’ll keep your guests warm no matter what the weather is like outside your marquee. Just as our marquees can be tailored to suit your unique event, so can the great range of heating that we can supply alongside your choice of a marquee.

We have a great selection of small and large heaters that provide indirect heating; for ultimate comfort from the start of your party to the end. Our heaters are installed outside the marquee so as not to disrupt the beautiful décor of your event. Whilst the heating is discreet, it’s still incredibly effective. The heating systems use air ducts to direct hot air underneath the walls of your marquee, perfectly heating the inside to banish the cold outside.

Each of our high-quality heating systems is easily controlled via a thermostat and is run on diesel – before your event, we’ll ensure that you know how to operate the system to keep your guests warm throughout the night.

Top heating tips

• The heater will provide heating for 12-14 hours, which is thermostatically controlled.
• During Spring and summer, heating is generally only required to take the chill off later in the evening. During autumn and especially winter, you should heat the marquee reasonably before guests arrive to ensure a successful event.
• Use a heater with a powerful fan (Indirect Heaters are best)
• Test the heating several days before the event (at the same time of day) to make sure it works and is sufficient for the space
• In the winter, have the heating on for at least an hour before people arrive. On arrival, guests should walk into a wall of warmth. If they walk into a cold marquee, they will not warm up for the whole function.
• Aim your heater ducting towards the entrance. Think of a high street shop - they have a heater above the door to keep the temperature inside constant.
• Cover tables, chairs, furniture etc., overnight as condensation may result from the heating. Create ventilation by opening some doors and sides
